Admission Procedure
• Registration Forms are to be filled and submitted to the school office within seven days of the issue of registration forms.
• Registration does not imply admission in the school. It is subject to admission test, interaction and the availability of seats.
• Incomplete Registration Forms without photograph will be considered invalid.
• Date for admission tests and interaction will be given at the time of Registration and the same may be changed, on a very short notice of only two days by the school.
• At the time of Registration the following documents are required along with Registration Forms.
• Duly filled and signed Registration Forms.
• Passport size colour photograph.
• Photocopy of proof of date of birth and Adhar Card
• Admission to Nursery will be through interaction.
The minimum age of the pupil to admit in Pre- KG is 2years 8months and in LKG it is 3years 8months and in std. I, it is 5years and 8months(as on 31st May).
• There will be written test or oral test for students seeking admission from class I - IX, followed by an interview.
• It is strongly advised that the parents should fill the Registration Forms who will be responsible to the head of the school for the pupils conduct,deportment, punctuality,regular attendence,progress in school and payment of school.
• If T.C. with ‘Passed’ or ‘Promoted’ written on it is not submitted of the earlier school on time, the admission is liable to be cancelled.
T.C form outside the state should be countersigned by the Education Officer of the locality.
The School Curriculum is based on ICSE latest guidelines. The medium of instruction is English. We make continuous efforts for developing planned and dynamic school curriculum to inculcate a range of scholastic and co-scholastic activities to initiate and promote experiential learning i.e., “learning by doing”. We offer various educational programmes of the highest standards of excellence through committed teaching staff and modern teaching aides. As the primary objective of our curriculum is to foster holistic development including creativity, analytical and critical skills, decision making and problem solving ability, the students are encouraged to take initiatives to explore, experiment and experience. The tools and techniques of assessment at Carlo Cavina School are innovative, subject specific, age-appropriate, stress-free and enjoyable and make teaching – learning process effective and interesting.
Apart from regular academic courses, Games and Sports, Music, Dance, Literary Activities and Excursion form an integral part of the curriculum to promote interdisciplinary approach in learning outcomes/orientations. Regular I.Q Development Programmes are conducted to facilitate the growth of students. Several workshops related to health and hygienes are conducted to spread awareness amongst students. We are constantly engaged in evolving and integrating innovative pedagogical practices and strive to be a model of educational excellence.
Withdrawal
Transfer certificate will be issued only when the parent / guardian applies for it in the prescribed form after all the dues have been cleared in the office.The application should be given one month in advance.
If the head of the institution find any student's performance unsatisfactory and orders withdrawal of such student, it is obligatory on the part of the parent or guardian to withdraw the student.
Attendance
Regular attendance is insisted upon.No student should be absent himself / herself from class without sufficient reason and permission.
Reasons for the absence must be clearly stated in the 'Leave Record of the handbook'
in case of serious illness,the Principal should be informed with a Doctor's certificate accompanied by the leave application from the parent/ guardian.
Students who do not get 80% attendance for the year are liable to be detained or be advised to repeat another year.
The classes are designated as under:
Pre- KG, LKG and UKG - Kindergarten
Class I to V - Lower Primary
Class VI to VIII- Upper primary
Class IX to X- Secondary
