The school, with its superior infrastructure, intellectual pursuits and future oriented vision, has made a mark on the educational scenario of the metropolis. What was once bushy and deserted place is now a shrine of learning for the tiny tots.
It all started with a visionary decision by the Provincial Rev Sr. Phina Kuruvilla, DSFS. Sustained by the divine providence and under the pioneering leadership of the principal Rev.Sr.Minni Puthumana, DSFS, it came into existence in 2013. The newly started KG brought joy to the neighbourhood. The support of pioneering staff became Sr.Minni’s right hand in running the school efficiently which sprang up in this isolated area of Adigondanahalli. In 2016, Rev. Mother Corrada Magnani, the Superior General of Daughters of St. Francis De Sales, laid the foundation stone for the new school complex. Ever since its inception, it has grown steadily in strength and quality to become a well-recognized and much appreciated Secondary School. It has state of the art infrastructure and facilities which undergoes continuous update. It provides the students with spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, computer, and science laboratories, digitally equipped home theatre and conference room, auditorium and most of all a “Go Green” campus. Such quality and efficiency got rewarded in 2019 in the form of affiliation to the “Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations” (CISCE). Right from its very young years, the school was a contender to be reckoned with, not only because of its physical attributes but mainly because of the staff whose caliber was manifested in the academic performance and integral formation of the students.
In April 2016, Rev. Sr. Rufina Mangali DSFS, the second Principal commenced her innings and took it forward with efficiency and courage bringing in new developments in different aspects of the school. It now provide value based education from KG to Class X . The technologically advanced Carlo Cavina School doesn’t ignore the physical fitness of its students. It has got a number of extra and co- curricular activities throughout the academic year. The campus is vibrant and buzzling always with a broad range of activities like CCS Kalotsav, Inter school sports competitions, Inter school cultural fest, celebrations of national festivals etc. On co-curricular front the students are trained in aerobics, karate, dance, music, art and craft in order to discover and nurture their hidden talents.Hence here we utilize time so effectively. The school has a strong house system. Each house is represented by two mentors and two house captains, providing them with chances for a healthy competition.
Each passing academic year has been very exciting and rewarding for the school in terms of the annual academic results. The strenuous efforts of our previous years bore fruits with excellent academic performances of our first two outgoing batches of class X students in the CISCE Board Examinations, making us jubilant with cent percent results. All these testify to the fact that the value based, personalized and up-to-date educational practices of our school carried out by our dedicated staff are magnificent. Carlo Cavina School tries to recreate the message of living in close communion and ceaseless striving to keep up the spirit of the school and pursue our vision, mission and goal in a concerted effort to keep the banner of Carlo Cavina School flying high.
